Lightweight Open Front Cardigans for Women

A great cardigan is a must-have essential I'm always on the hunt for every year. I especially love this one because the fabric is ultra soft and comfortable. It is made of thin knit fabric with stretch. As we approach the final countdown of summer, I love a good duster cardigan to carry me through fall and into winter. Not only are they ultra comfortable, but chic too! Both the solid color and striped style with side pockets are attractive.

The casual cardigan hits right below the hips, so it could easily be worn more casually with leggings, a graphic tee, and sneakers. The clean lines make it feel slightly more dressy, meaning this would also be a great addition to your fall work wear wardrobe. All you'd have to do is trade out the distressed mom jeans and bootie combination for classic black dress pants and neutral heels.

As the days get a little cooler, some of my favorite outfits for work involve cardigans. You can wear a white long sleeve blouse with black leggings that are appropriate for work. Another way to wear the cardigan is with a chambray dress and boots for a casual fall weekend look!

When it comes to coats for fall and winter, I usually gravitate towards clean lines for a more dressed-up look. Layer it over a bodysuit and pair with your favorite distressed jeans like I did here, or pair it with faux leather leggings and sneakers for a more casual vibe.
